"Muse de Light"

a new work commissioned by the National Gallery ofAustralia.

As part of the extraordinary visiting exhibition from the Musee d'Orsay - Masterpieces from Paris - Ickle Pickle Productions has been engaged by the National Gallry of Australia to produce an original performance to highlight the exhibition in December 2009.

This fantastic, vibrant production will entertain, educate and enthrall all ages with a combination of dance, music, performance and interaction. Seen through the eyes of two young children, the production will conjure in the audiences' mind images of carnivale, Moulin Rouge, Parisian architecture and settings.

The children, and the audience, are taken on a mesmerising journey to see some of the people and places associated with the exhibition. Truly an enchanting spectacle for the whole family, don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience this original and colourful production.

Having previously produced other such productions for the National Gallery of Australia such as The Mystery of King Tut's Stolen Treasure (2006) and Christmas Dreeaming (2007), and renowned for original and creative productions, vibrant costume and staging, plus combining a terrific sense of humour with educational components, Ickle Pickle Productions isenormously pleased to be associated once again with the National Gallery of Australia for this production.

Performing Saturday December 12th at 11.30am + 1.30pm.
