Based on the well-known Arabian tale, this original version of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves has all the trademarks of Ickle Pickle's holiday productions. Humour, slapstick, satire and audience participation are all parts of this fantastic show, suitable for all ages. Ali Baba and his assistant, Gunnedah, think all their problems are solved when they stumble across a hidden treasure. However the Captain of the Forty Thieves isn't so pleased. Will Ali Baba and Gunnedah escape the clutches of the evil Captain? Will Ali Baba make Princess Narooma laugh and thus win her hand in marriage? And just who will win the popular TV show Baghdad's Got Talent?
