Ickle Pickle Productions is not another local amateur theatre company producing the same tried and tired shows.

Instead, Ickle Pickle is a production company, providing entertainment to the highest standard, as well as technical solutions for live theatre, television and film.

Ickle Pickle Productions was founded by Justin Watson as a result of a request by the Belconnen Community Service Arts and Cultural Program to produce a family show suitable for all ages at Christmas 2005.

Justin quickly gathered together a group of experienced production personnel with whom he had worked on other productions. The result was the critically acclaimed and box office success known as Goldilocks, by Peter Macdonald.

Since these humble beginnings, Ickle Pickle Productions has rapidly become an established fixture in the Canberra theatre community. Ickle Pickle Productions has developed five new works in that short time, including two productions for the National Gallery of Australia, written and conceived by Jenny Maclean and Justin Watson, as well as wowing audiences with classics such as The Wizard of Oz (The Street Theatre, April 2007) and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Belconnen Theatre, August 2006).

Ickle Pickle will continue to strive to produce high quality, accessible and original entertainment to the Canberra community, at the lowest prices possible!
